Rails to Trails
Stretching 4.6 miles in the City of Tulare is the Santa Fe Trail. It is designed for commuting and recreating bicyclists, walkers, joggers and horse riders. It is just one of many trails that visitors can stretch out their auto-bended legs and explore our communities.

The Rawhide have seen major league players like Vada Pinson, Kirby Puckett, Neifi Perez, Barry Zito and Eric Chaves on their roster over the years.
Land of the Giants
Home to Sequoia National Park, the Sequoia National Monument and Sequoia National Forest, the worlds largest and the oldest living thing on the planet – the giant Sequoia. The General Sherman tree is more than 275 feet high and 102 feet in circumference. And if that’s not tall enough – the highest peak in the United States, Mt. Whitney is also located in Tulare County.

The Sierra Nevada foothills provides an ideal location for water sports and outdoor recreation. Lake Success, located east of Porterville and Lake Kaweah, located north of Woodlake, offer swimming, fishing, boating, and camping.
